Well, I assumed you were doing things with the 500 or so odd relatives of yours that live nearby. But if you were free that day, hey, do you want to come over on Christmas morning?
We had five sets of relatives drop by, about fifteen people. It was fun, the only issue being that it was supposed to be a BRUNCH, not a BLINNER. The first guest arrived at 11 AM, the last walked out the door at SEVEN O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING so that put us as eight hours straight of entertaining, not to mention the getting ready part. So next year we're locking the front door and hiding in our bedrooms after 2 PM.
Hey!...leave my odd relatives out of this...! Um, yes, I'd LOVE to come over on Christmas morning, but sadly, I must decline your kind invitation, because we are busy. My in-laws came over at about 2:00, and stayed until 9:00. Why does that much fun end up being so exhausting? We'll do Christmas with my family sometime this weekend.
