Even students who use loose sheets of paper to write and then gather them in a three ring or loose notebook can benefit from this idea.<br /><br />The more the student feels the writing reflects &quot;them&quot; - their interests, tastes, values - the stronger their writing becomes and the more it reflects their own voice.<br /><br />I have encouraged my student&#39;s to use Word Art to develop the front of their three ring notebooks to slide into the slip-cover. I think my daughter in particular will prefer this idea of a soft touch, with her choice of colors.
